Closed To The Public Due To Covid-19
As of March 18, 2020 Lytle Public Library is closed to the public, until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience, however, we are offering curbside checkout/ check-in, as well as, modified printing services. We are unable to offer copy and fax service at time. Wi-Fi is available outside the library in the parking lot. All programs have been cancelled due to library closure.
Lytle Public Library has over 25,000 items in the collection. There are audio books, magazines, DVD’s, large print, adult fiction/non-fiction, young adult fiction/non-fiction, juvenile (juvy) fiction/non-fiction, easy (picture) fiction/non-fiction, biographies, Texana, Spanish, Christian fiction, and DVDs.
The library also offers a variety of services such as faxing, scanning, copying, printing, and computer usage. We also have access to the Tex-Share Databases, as well as, Inter-Library Loan Services (ILL) and the Tex-Share Card Program, for our established patron accounts.
The library is pleased to offer monthly programs including story time and an all ages craft night. The library also has a yearly summer reading program for the children, as well as, an annual history Fair event for everyone to enjoy.

The library includes a children’s corner that has two computers for the little ones to enjoy, a game table for checkers/chess, a teen booth, and a quiet zone for those wanting to sit and read.
Keep in mind that all children must be supervised, while in the library.
