Duties of the City Secretary are as follows:
- Serves as record management office for all municipal records
- Serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the city
- Serves as the Chief Election Official for the city
- Responsible for overseeing the Corporate Seal
- Responsible for the passing of all agenda and preparation of the minutes of all city meetings
- Assists Mayor as budget officer
- Serves as city’s purchasing agent
- Sees that all city ordinances are complied with
