City Secretary

The City Secretary serves as the administrative head of the municipal government under the direction and supervision of the council.

City Secretary
Duties of the City Secretary are as follows:
  • Serves as record management office for all municipal records
  • Serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the city
  • Serves as the Chief Election Official for the city
  • Responsible for overseeing the Corporate Seal
  • Responsible for the passing of all agenda and preparation of the minutes of all city meetings
  • Assists Mayor as budget officer
  • Serves as city's purchasing agent
  • Sees that all city ordinances are complied with
