When you go to vote at any of the polling places whether they are in Atascosa, Medina or Bexar counties, please communicate with poll workers. Here are steps you can follow to help insure you are voting on the proper ballot.
Step 1- Tell poll workers you are from Lytle.
Step 2- Check your ballot. The Lytle races are the last races on the ballot. If the Lytle races are on the ballot, you can vote your ballot. If they are NOT, do NOT vote on this ballot, TALK to the poll workers.
Step 3- Tell poll workers to check your address and maps, so you can get the right ballot. If the poll workers refuse to help you, insist that they call the Elections Administrator so you can be given the right ballot.
Step 4- If all the above attempts fail, tell the poll workers you want to vote a "PROVISIONAL BALLOT."
Voters in Bexar and Medina Counties will be able to vote on the Mayoral race and the "local option" election. Only 5 residences on Blume Dr. in Medina County will have the District 5 race on the ballot.
Atascosa County voters that are in Districts 4 and 5 will have three Lytle races on the ballot. The other 3 Districts will have the Mayoral election and the "local option" proposition. If you have any questions, feel free to call City Hall. Also, district maps can be found on the city's website.
Please do NOT cast your ballot, if you do not see the Lytle elections on them. Once a ballot is cast, you are not allowed to vote again.
