NOTICE OF SEALED BID
FOR SALE OF SURPLUS WELL PUMP MOTOR
CITY OF LYTLE, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Lytle, is seeking bids for the sale of the following described surplus item, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein:

Bid Due Date: September 16, 2022
Bid Due Time: 4:00 p.m.
Interested parties should submit a written and sealed bid to:

All bids should be clearly marked as “Sealed Bid for Surplus Motor” and shall be signed by the prospective purchaser. Bids received after Bid Due Date or Bid Due Time will be returned unopened. Bids submitted by telephone, email or fax will not be accepted.
A bidder is not required to include a deposit as part of its bid. The city will open the qualified bids at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Lytle City Hall at which time and place the names of the bidders and the amount bid will be read aloud.
All bids become part of City files without obligation to the City. The City reserves its right to reject any and all bids, to re-advertise, to waive defects and formalities in bids, to select a bid that is the most advantageous and best for the City. The City of Lytle will not be responsible in the event the U.S. Postal Service or any other courier system fails to deliver proposals prior to the bid deadline.
Closing on the sale of the well motor shall occur within thirty (30) days of the acceptance of the bid. All items are being sold “As Is”, “Where Is”. The City of Lytle will execute a bill of sale transferring the property to the selected bidder upon satisfaction of the terms of the selected bid and payment of the bid price. Following closing, the property must be promptly removed at the buyer’s sole cost and expense.
