I-35 frontage road will close on the nights of Dec. 20 and 21
Closure
On the nights of Dec. 20 and 21, starting at 11 p.m. each night, crews will close a short segment of the I-35 frontage road located at the corner of I-35 and McDonald Street (FM 2790) near the Lytle Crossing shopping center. The frontage road will open each morning by 5 a.m.
Access
All other connecting streets to the frontage road will be open. All driveways to area businesses will be open.
Purpose
Crews will be replacing a drainage structure with a structure that will be larger and better for managing runoff water in the area. This activity is part of a larger project that is rehabilitating frontage road pavement and widening frontage roads along I-35 in the Lytle area.
