Richard L. Priest

Richard Priest joined Lytle PD in March of 1997 as a non-paid Officer. He became acting Chief of Police in August of 1999, then Interim Chief until his full-time appointment as Chief of Police in October of 1999. He holds a Master Peace Officer License as well as numerous hours of training in police management. He is also the City Fire Marshal with certifications by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as an Arson Investigator & Fire Inspector. He is also a certified bike patrol officer.
