David joined the Lytle PD as a Full-Time officer on February 15, 2013. David is a December 2013 graduate of the San Antonio College Law Enforcement Academy. Prior to completing the Peace Officer Academy David was employed in the Public Works Department and we are glad he transferred over to our team! David is a 2009 Lytle High School Graduate. He has attained Advanced Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. David also holds a Police Instructor License. David is the department's ASP Baton and TASER Instructor. David serves as a Deputy Fire Marshal and holds certifications from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Fire Inspector and Arson Investigator. David is currently assigned to the Investigations Division. He was promoted to Sergeant on Dec. 1, 2022.
